It's looking good - I have a two-year-old one that is much smaller and hasn't flowered yet!

Now you mention it, I am not sure how old it is. I have had it for about a year, or year and a half, and I don't know how long a camellia takes to grow to the size it was when I got it (not much smaller than it is now-it has had a hard life so far ) So I suppose it could be 3 or 4 years old.

Thanks for all of the advice in this thread, I'm off to get a pot and some appropriate compost for my camellia as it's really not doing very well in the garden.
