Something is eating the young gooseberry plants..
« on: September 03, 2012, 20:26 »
I've was collecting seedling gooseberry plants in the spring and taking cuttings over the winter last year.  But something is currently stripping the leaves from them, it doesn't look like the classic gooseberry sawfly larvae and I'm unsure what it is..

Can anyone help me with an identification?

there are a few different sawflies that eat strawberries - all with the same healthy appetite

Just call it a sawfly and kill the beggars  ;)
