2"x2" dressed timber for perches?
« on: September 01, 2012, 22:47 »
Would normal 2"x2" dressed timber be the right width for perches in a coop or do I need to go wider? I've read that rounding off the top is a good idea also.

2" wide and rounded at the top is ideal. I made 4 new perches for the coop and laid them out like a cattle grid. This now keeps the hens off the floor of the coop and on the perches
