is it possible to pick sweecorn and freeze them in air tiight bags with there leaves still on and if so has anyone tried it ?

They can take up an awful lot of space though, so hope you have a big freezer.

I tend to remove the husks and tassels before wrapping them in clingfilm and freezing, although I have let the husks on previously.  Can't remember them coming to any harm.

I've just (well yesterday) blanched and froze the last of ours, small - 4 mins, medium - 6 mins, and biggies - 8 mins.
