Today's Bargains
« on: August 15, 2012, 19:33 »
Today I went to Dobbies to look for a present for a friend's birthday. My oh my there was a 50% sale on some items.
here's what I bought:-
5 x growbag watering pots £2.00 reduced from £7.99(for tomatoes etc)
2 x mini snippers for dead heading £2.00 reduced £4.99
A pair of  Laura Ashley gardener's gloves £3.30 reduced from £10.99
And lets have a drum roll........................
2 x bokashi bin composters £4.99 reduced from£37.00

I also got some other stuff not gardening related.
I then went to Countrywise store on my way home & they'd got  seed starter sets for 10p
so all in all a good bargain day & plus I've started my winter festival shopping

So what bargains did you get today?

Clarify subject matter.

Wow!  Half-relieved and half-jealous that we don't have a Dobies near here!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Err . . . we do have a Dobbies about 16 miles away at Ashford, but I'm too scared to go there!

However, you seem to have done quite well out of them . . . WELL DONE YOU!  :)

Is it Dobies or Dobbies we are talking about? They are two different stores..... :)

Well done for that, feels good doesn't it... I went into Dobbies locally and I couldn't find much in their sale...  :(
I would have snapped up a bokashi bin composters if I'd have seen one though!

I fancy a trip out, but I suspect there will be no bokashi composters at ours -- bargains tend to go the moment they are labelled as such  :(
