I love the historical samplers. Would be nice to think that in 100 years someone will look at our sewing and appreciate it like we appreciate things like ancient tapestries and such-like.

I'd love to be able to help restore old tapestries and things - I wonder how you get into a job like that

Cut a lovely sized hazel thumb stick from the hedge yesterday morning. Its in the garage where i will dry it before varnishing.
