It's mainly French Oak for the construction with quarter/four way, heavy pip Oak veneer with Oak cross banding.

Thank you Sarajane, just a few twigs with bits hanging from them that I collected over the years when I did displays in nurseries & preschools. I do twigs & baubles at Yule tide too.

Lovely, that reminds me of my Uncle Cyril, he used to hang Fruitella sweet sticks from the small shrubs in his garden for us.
