Watching Kirstie last year working on a WI project with other women showed how difficult that can be! :D
It just takes one with a strong personality...

Or sometimes a very quiet but determined one, I felt a bit like a go between at times.  Certainly an experience. It was lovely to see how it progresses from the set title & then to see everyone else's take on it.

Not sure it's creative but I made this this afternoon.... Fairly pleased with it, need more practice...

Was meaning for it to come out a put larger, but it fits a magazine in it nicely

Oooh WW, what lovely neat stitches.  I can't even sew a straight line.  And I love the material!   :) :)

It is the first bag I have made, I bought the fabric before a while ago as I made a cushion of it as a Christmas present.  I had to re-do one part as I got confused and the lining ended up the wrong way around, was a bit of a "doh" moment. lol...

Those moments happen when you are an experienced sewer too  I've had a seam on the outside of a dress before now

This is the quilt I'm working on at the moment: HERE

Shocked at the prices of good quilt fabric but I went to my favourite shop and rummaged through their clearance fabrics and managed to find many similar colours and prints.

I enlarged the quilt from 9 centre blocks to 16 as it's a baby quilt for grandchild #2 expected in late summer, and rather than waste time on a crib quilt that fits only for a year or so, I make them larger so the child can use it for many years.

Quilt is all pieced together now and just started hand appliquing the flowers, vines and leaves around the border.

That's lovely Trillium. I go to a place in Leicester for fabric, they do online orders. I would have thought they would do overseas. Try The Fabric Guild. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other shops etc, even show prices. The dearest fat quarter is about £ 2.75

Trillium, are you making it in the same Autumn colour shades, as the pattern, so it will be ok for boy or girl?
