My Christmas present last year was an order from Craft Creations so stocked up on peeloffs and decoupage sheets (used to use a lot of wrapping paper rather than printed sheets in the UK) tape and foam pads. But generally the cost of having stuff sent out will be more than I will get back. Over here people will pay the equivelent of 80p for a card. My sister used to sell them for me when she had a shop years ago for more than double that!

Need to get creative!

Just catching up on here.  Wow Tosca, that lion is beautiful.  Your hubby is so talented!

I know what you mean about the decoupage sheets, some of them are so intricate arent they?  They take ages to cut out and layer with foam pads.  Also now over here, if anything is slightly thicker than a couple of sheets of paper, you have to put a large letter stamp on it, so it costs even more to post!

Lovely card though!

Christie the little flowers took a while as there was so many of them and had to wait for the layers of petals to dry before attaching another layer on the large rose  then there is the dusting of each individual flower and the rose. All are dusted in a pearl shimmer dust and the centres of the little flowers and tips of the rose petals in a Royal blue. Time consuming but enjoyable.

Tosca, that lion is fabulous,I love lions. The cards & biscuits are lovely too. Glad you are able to sell some as well, keeps the lion from the door   I'm intrigued on the story of a hand raised lion, can you tell us more

The lion is called Tejas, an Asiatic lion which featured in a series of evening programmes from Chester zoo in 2007, and was hand reared by his then keeper, and friend of our's, Alan Woodward, who is still involved with Tejas as he moves around Europe. Tejas even has his own facebook page, some people are obsessed!. It's all on google I think. I will be using a small image on some desperately needed man-cards, but the painting is large, I think too large for this house, Bonnie lab is not keen.

What will you do with picture?
