It's a while since I have done any x-stitch let alone on 28 count but really must get around to doing some again :)
This one sums up my gardening :D

OK will see what i can do.
Was the ranger in question me joyfull as i used to do the same, at one time!
Cracking craftwork on here by many. There is something very theraputic in taking materials (i'm using the word in the widest possible sense, could be cooking ingredients, scrap metal, wool etc) and making something worthwhile.

Both cross stitching are lovely Joyful. I have some kits queuing up, but they will have to wait for me to finish Sara Moon. I've been doing it for nearly 3 years..... nearly finished though.

No not me then, we had to do stints in the car park waiting for cars to arrive, so i'd set the tying kit up while waiting. On rainy days i tied a lot of flies!  :D

One of us always had to stay at the desk ready to answer questions and to sell fishing licenses or rent out boats on the trout lake (we also had a course fishing lake) and like you say wet days were very quiet so plenty of sewing, flies tied, books read etc :)

They're fab Willow :)

I never have time to cross stitch my cards - always seems to be too much else to do this time of year ::)

This square (unfinished when I took the piccy) one was made to use up scraps and I use it as a throw on a garden chair.  Don't get much time for patchwork at the moment - too busy making dresses.

Lovely Willow....I recognise the snowman. It was one that I stitched for one of my grandchildren last year.  :)

Wow that looks amazing!
Haven't really had a go at any proper patchwork. Would love to though.  :)

Thanks for all your kind comments.  I haven't done much cross stitch for ages but really enjoyed these.  Not sure what to do with them now - I know most people won't appreciate a card or the work that's gone into them!

H :)

I only give or send my XS cards to people I know will appreciate them.  Some of the little designs (and those that my friend sends me) I make into decorations, either for the tree, or hang them on my garland that goes in the hallway.  I have also made them into coasters for the children, they love those and they come out every year!
