Wow that bouquet is quite something!

I love the paper crafted flowers.

We (the S&B gang) helped out a colleague, Helen, whose daughter got married last year. We made sheet music bunting for the hall where her reception was (the daughter studies music in Scotland somewhere).
Her mum ordered some fantastic fabric that was printed with sheet music and it looked great. We made metres and metres of it! We were all sat round the table with our sewing machines like a proper sewing bee!
Helen made us a lovely buffet lunch too :happy:

Our motto is Stitch and b*tch and lunch!! Or cake!!! :happy: :happy:

Both my older children are very musical and they both love this, my daughter said when I get married I would love something like that, she currently plays violin, grade 5, piano, grade 5, clarinet, grade 5 and harp grade 4

Thanks Mrsbean, yes I am pleased I started it too.  We see things on different threads that people put on the forum that they've made, but I thought it would be nice to bring it all together.

After all, it isn't JUST about growing veg is it?

Sounds good to me!  lol  My best friend Jacqui had the right idea.  She works to support herself.  No husband, her own little house and in the evenings after work, she goes home and does exactly as SHE LIKES!!!!!     

She's a crafter too.  Mainly cross stitch, but she makes these amazing little flowery arrangements that she sticks to people's Christmas presents.  I had so many I didn't know what to do with them all.  I did put a few on other people's presents, but that was a shame, so I've started making them in little Christmas wreaths to hang around the house.

I taught the Stitch 'n' B*tchers how to make Kirstie's ribbon roses with wired ribbon - which incidently was sold at 99p per roll (nearly 2m each roll) at my local Cornish garden centre *thumbs up* .

The purple velvet ribbon one I made looks almost real. :happy: :happy:

Makes pretty gift accessories. :happy:

The new knitted clown for the refuge funds.  Jumbo, our dog, ate the first hamburger, I was just finishing off the ´sesame seeds´ on the top roll, looked for the rest of the burger but could not find it, it turned up under Jumbo, he was pretending he knew nothing about it!  It took me another 3 hours of knitting (and unpicking) and sewing to do another burger!
