I used to work alongside a chap like that.  Every year he had a different colour theme.  Everything, tree, decs, and everything else in the room had to be one colour.

Goodness knows what the 'black' year looked like!  Another year was white, then purple........

I love my traditional tree, even though it is artificial!

My DIL had a Baby Shower party recently, at which each of her friends made a piece for bunting to decorate the baby's room.

This is the one I made -- not yet backed so edges still raw

Soo pleased   as it is the first thing I have made for some years, as I have found it very difficult to use my hands The stitching is a bit boggly, and five years ago it would have been more perfect, but nonetheless I am proud of my little fish

Everyone made sea creature-themed triangles. Some of them were very amusing, especially the octopuses

I always think that handmade items look better if they are not perfect. It adds to the quirkiness of the item made. A one of a kind.

When I question my not so perfect outcome, I was always think "If you wanted it perfect you should of bought it" and "If you bought then it... well wheres the fun in that"

                                                   ... Where's the personal touch"
                                                      ... etc etc etc

This is my latest ´craft´ Mr Fix-it  a clown from the Jean Greenhowe(?)  pattern books.  I have ordered the Red Nose Gang book to do some knitting from now.  He is to be raffled for the dog refuge funds.

What talented members we have.  I used to do cross stitch and still have all my supplies in the loft.  I also made jewellery with swarovski crystal pearls.  I made some for my daughters wedding including a tiara.  I will take some photos to post.
