Thanks - the cake was actually pale pink, the colour hasn't shown very well.
 
My icing skills are very rusty - but I have to keep practising now, cos who knows when I'll get to make the wedding cake

Yes, I have lots of different leaf and petal cutters that you mould into flower shapes.

They must be oooh........ some of them, about 40odd years old from when I made my first wedding cake ................. my own

This thread is very inspiring but makes me very jelous I am useless at all craft. Dunno about 2 left feet I have 2 left hands. Well done all you that have the patients I know where to come when I need a cake of a quilt

You should try cross stitch or card making Dawn, they are soooo easy.  Must be, I can do them!    

I made all my Christmas cards last year.  77 of them!

Here's a photo of the cushions I've made for a friends birthday on Tuesday,she like Radley bags etc. I had enough material left to make a doorstop as well. The pattern was in Prima a few months ago.

Ok then here goes, I think the wreaths are the 1st thing I made for that time of year at the sewing group I go to,we think it has been running about 16/17 years, I went to the 2nd one.It's on the 1st Saturday of the month.I made one at the group & then another one at home. They've gone up every December since.

Last years offering,I knew my sister would want one so when I went to see her in December Itook it to show her & then brought one nearly finished out of the bag & finished it there & she got to choose which one she wanted

I haven't made much in the line of decs, but it's lovely when I get all my decs out, some going back to when I was a child, brings back memories of how I came by each one.

Yes that's what I like too,I couldn't be one of these people that change the colour scheme to go with the room decor or what's fashionable. Or the one's that don't let the children take part as it will spoil the look Then let them have a tree in an out of way place to do want they want  with.
By the way I forgot to say your cards looked lovely. At WI next week we're doing Tbag folding,that will probably end up being a card.I'm hoping to got to Hobbycrafts in March,lots of card making stuff there
