This is beautiful, I love the scrolly bits.

I have a sewing machine with a free motion foot (think that's what its called). Means that you can move the fabric in any direction. Takes a bit of getting used to and I broke quite a few needles the first time I used it! It's great though. When I first started I quilted by hand and that really is a lob our of love as it takes forever!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Wow did you do that on a standard size machine then? I have a free motion foot but just find the fabric too big to physically move that well.
Gained an allotment on the 19th June 08, 135ft by 40ft! eekk. Finally after 4 years it is looking like an allotment and not a jungle

We have 5 lovely hens in the garden, fish, 2 dogs and 2 canaries

not as intricate as many of the watermelon carvings I've just looked at on google images but I was challenged by a friend to do a death star (star wars), and I can't turn down a challenge!

I also needed it to be whole so I can feed it with vodka  :D  - 2nd pic is the start of the process

I was also challenged earlier in the year to make a rubik's cube cake... 3rd picture  :)

There seems to be a food and alcohol theme to my craftiness  :D

That melon looks brilliant.  When you've finished feeding it with vodka you can send me a slice  ...

... love the cake :)

With the teddy bear, dog and cat keyrings I have made  I have taken around 70€  so that has paid off one of the refugio´s  vets bills.  I am having a break from keyrings and turning to shopping bags now- just using the material I have in the house, so it will be pot luck!

I love anything crafty!  I dabble in a bit of sewing (recently made 28 superhero capes for a birthday party), knitting, card making & scrapbooking.  My main focus lately though is cake making and decorating.  I'm currently doing a non conventional wedding cake for this sat, but here's some of my other cakes.  For some reason don't seem to have photos of anything else!

What fantastic cakes, I have a friend who makes cakes too, so clever.

Here is bag no.1  I took it to the refugio this afternoon as I had to deliver the keyrings, Beatriz was taking some pups to the vet, so she took the bags I have made, she said there might be someone there to buy them!

This is the other bag they took:

Wow, there are some very talented people on here.

I dabble from time to time in crafts, and last Christmas I made some printed aprons, printed gift and bottle bags, festive stockings, flannel cupcakes, etc which I sold for a local charity.  I am planning to sell the unsold items at my daughter's school fayre this Christmas.
