What a shame I do not live closer to you Casey, you could give me lessons in beading
I often wonder how folk can make so much money from some of the things they make, I guess they factor in all the hours some things take.  I like making things for presents.

One ex forum member does a lot of crocheting, and she sells a lot on ETSY.  Sends stuff all over the world!

I've got a little bead loom I bought years ago, must have another go at that in the winter.  I bought my SIL one too, and although really meant for children, she loved it as she loves Native American stuff and she made herself loads of things on it.

I love your jewellery Casey, did you make the silver setting for the last piece?

I did GA, though it isn't silver, it's aluminium ;)  It pretends to be silver though, and I find it very malleable which is good for practice work... I never graduated to using sterling.

Does watermelon carving count as crafty? - If so I shall let you know if I'm any good in a couple of hours  ;)

before our computer 'died' and we sent it to a local Hospital I had photos of a cruise we did  with lots of watermelon carvings  and ice carvings, shame they all got lost!  They were a bit 'fuzzy' though as we never noticed the vibration of the ship. Still think they are very clever though.  (why are lap top key boards so small, sorry, on my daughters)

This is a quilt I made. It is made off all my old pyjamas as they already know how to do sleeping! :D

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Crumbs - all the talent on here (except me) is totally awe-inspiring. I used to play the guitar - would love to know how these on here sounded - is one a Dobro? I've made my own curtains, both window and door ones, but could never do anything intricate like on here. Jewellery is gorgeous and the quilt - heaven!
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Kate and her ducks i love your quilt, how did you get the actual quilting done? Did you take it somewhere or do you have one of those lovely quilting machines? My machine is good but isnt a long arm one so it is really hard to do any quilting to that extent.
Here are some of the bits i have made (sorry it is a lot but i didnt want to post them al seperatly!)
I have just had an order for a quilted bed runner and i have the fabric for my own bed cover.

Gained an allotment on the 19th June 08, 135ft by 40ft! eekk. Finally after 4 years it is looking like an allotment and not a jungle

We have 5 lovely hens in the garden, fish, 2 dogs and 2 canaries
