Overwintering Calabrese

We had some over last winter.  I cannot remember where we 'aquired' them from.

They ended up looking like the picture on a packet of "Walking Stick cabbages"!  They were huge.  The electrician who came to service the substation were very impressed.

They need serious staking to stop rocking during the winter weather.  Only trouble is, once the first flush of heads had gone they seemed to go downhill quite quickly.

I'd give it a go again, but double stake.     Cheers,    Tony.
