My 1st cucumber of the season!

Isn't it exciting :o  This season's first cucumber - check it out.  Unfortunately between last night tne this morning something had a much. - More coffee for the garden today me thinks!

its there now matey ,, good on ya , try hanging them down  over something they wil grow nice n straight , shaun likes them bendy ones  :wink:

I have them growing up a trellis but this cucumber was of the stalk really close to the ground - the others are straighter as you move up the trellis -  thanks

I don't think there will be any for pickling down - I can't get enough cucumbers - we eat about 20 a week - I don't think that I can even grown enough to keep up the supply

Not me personally - there are 7 of us and 3 of the kids are fructose intollerent so no fruit just lots of veggies! :D hence why I am try to grow as much as possible besides the fact that it tastes better it costs a fortune and the shop and gardening keeps me sane in this chaos! :lol:

sometimes its a bit to warm. gets into the 40's (degrees celcius) in summer and no rain and strict water restrictions but the taste of my veggies is worth it - I sacrifice my "pretty garden" for my veggies garden when it gets really hot.  sort of the opposite of you guys this year didn't you have flood after flood after flood - maybe we need to run one big pipe from you to here and solve both problems :lol:  :lol:

 nah i live in the wettest parts of the uk n we still get blooming drought restrictions  :lol:  :lol:  :lol: , besides .they cant take ya bath water back :wink:
