One of my chooks is wandering around the garden proudly displaying some treasure she found while "helping" me to weed.... A fricken frog

lol i found one last night in the dogs water bowl. Wish the chickens would hurry up and find it because they scare me witless

Ours were chasing around the garden one day with a slow worm, I managed to rescue it, showed it to the neighbour, who promptly chopped it“s head off!
SInce then, any I have found I have not shown my neighbour. The hens like baby mice too

They are quite partial to a bit of french dining
Fond of snails too and they love the garlic granules I put in their feed (the kind you give horses). Perhaps they have more gourmet tastes than I give them credit for
