When my tubers arrived in January, I wasn't aware you could "chit" them like potatoes and when I finally did something about them, several tubers had sprouted

The Real Seeds catalogue suggested the long sprouted ends could be nipped off and put into water to make more plants. So out of the initial 6 or so, I managed to multiply the number of plants to about 15. The plants from sprouts are almost the same size as the tuber ones so I'm quietly hopeful there will be a few extra tubers at the end of the season

If that is the case, it seems like a much easier way to increase the tuber stock?
