OK, so what are/is the point of lay hens?

I'm sitting in reception at work at the moment (law firm) and a rather famous actor has just walked in to see my boss, scuse me while I get starstruck, don't ask me who, I'm not allowed to say  :twisted:

i saw about 4 flowers on one of mine today, its growing in a bush, didnt know it was there but must be a self set
2 allotments, long standing back problem, am i mad?

just had to go to the blooming school to switch the alarm off, munty would off been proud of me sneaking around with my 4 x3 hoping to find some orrible little burglar in the school but alas no one back home now and just noticed our sweetpeas frozen solid this must be the hardest frost we have had in yrs, so Im afraid thats the end of them here in sunny shropshire hows yours :D  :shock:
If the early bird gets the worm how come the 2nd mouse to the trap gets the cheese ??

Point of lay hens Mashauk are hens from 18 weeks on who are getting ready to lay eggs.  Some can start to lay at 16 weeks, but most of our didn't start until they were 24-26 weeks.

And no WG. I know you wouldn't expect POL's to come into a thread on sweetpeas, but I just happened to mention them in context becasue I do feed them differnet things so as not to waste!!!!   :tongue2:
