I was given 2 small chokes last year, well  I have just lifted them and filled 2 1/2 buckets of them, clamped some up and eating some tonight. I dug the bed over and planted 15 so should have millions next year.

We have a globe artichoke and it has a head on it. Is it supposed to happen at this time of year? Another plot holder had his in the summer.

Thank you. Must admit we only bought it because we liked the look of the foliage, and tried to find info on google as to what to do with it. Don't know what they taste like.
Right going to google cardoon now.
