that's sad  :( it's just a matter of time for most of us this year, unless the weather dries up a bit

The way things are going with our summers, I'm thinking of growing more under polythene cloches for next year. It'll keep the plants drier and raise the temp, but it does mean that they will need ventilating. Time to get my thinking cap on.

Aww sorry to hear that m1ckz.  How many have you got left?

Was the blight very bad on them?

About 4 years ago I got blight in my polytunnel (yes I know they say indoor toms don't usually gt it, but these ones did!)  I had to chuck a couple of plants.  I think it was because I didn't realise the Inca where going to spread as much as they did and they got very humid in there.

The others I kept taking off fruits and leaves as soon as I saw the blight, and saved a lot of them, and they put out more side shoots and more fruit.

How heartbreaking!  I am getting daily blight warnings so am dreading it.  Went up to the plot today half expecting carnage, but it has not yet reached me. YET

I went up the plot this evening and noticed my neighbours tomatoes had curled leaves ,black veins and yellow patches. They looked fine this morning.Does that sound like blight?does it cause damage that quickly?

Sounds more like a magnesium deficiency - spray with epsom salts.  I think a lot of toms are suffering due to nutrients leeching out of the soil

I remember that feeling from last year (not through blight I say, my own fault potting them into fresh chicken manure and burnt the roots)

So sorry for you especially as its not your fault.  I'd let you have some of mine if you lived nearer. :(

You should just cut off the infected leaves and they might have survived.
