A few weeks ago, a large typhoon ripped through my allotment. Flattened the sweet corn and sunflowers. Internet advice was to lift up and stake the fallen fellows. And/Or earth them up. So I left them and did nothing. This was because there was another typhoon on it's way. Well, the typhoon didn't come, and the sunflowers and corn righted themselves, now standing prouder than the jolly green giant.

Nature wants to grow, sunflowers want to shine, and corn wants to be eaten.
