All that rain yesterday and today has completely submerged my brocolli, brussels and beetroot. That's despite having trenched that bed and double dug everything around it. Guess that particular corner of the plot will have very high raised beds next year.

My cabbage and kale is in an inch of standing water so no doubt the roots will rot now.

I filled 30 buckets of water from my plot today and used it to fill my new pond. But it didn't make a dent to the flooded area. The plot next to me is lower and unoccupied. Do you think it would be acceptable to chuck some of my water onto it tomorrow? It's not going to drain into anyone else's plot because that one is at the far end in the corner and it slopes away to the edge of the site.

Yes sadly we are the same no idea what crops will survive this coupled with the sheer numbers of slugs which are attacking everything.
