Chicken not laying after a fright - Any advice ?

Our chickens got broken into last week, the thieves only managed to get 2 of the chickens as the rest ran back inside where they can't be got at. The remaining chickens were a bit frightened for the rest of the day but seem ok now.

The thing is they don't really seem to be laying much now. We have 6 chickens and only getting about 2 eggs a day

Does it take a while for chickens to lay again properly after a scare ?

They are eating plenty and have all the right healthy signs to be laying

After a fright like that it might take them a while to get back to laying.  Most chickens will lay only if they are feeling secure, so you will just have to be patient with them for a little longer
