Any reputable nursery should be able to tell you the rootstock they use.  Try http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GFRC_enGB208GB208&q=m27+rootstock  and look for a nursery you can visit in person

Look, someone obviously told you you need M27, which is a bit of a blah blah, you don't get fruit trees on M27, you get apple on it. It is a dwarfing root stock commonly used for apples, so as WG says everybody in the world will have it. Diff rootstock is used for diff fruit.

And indeed you could get down to your local specialised nursery and ask for advice and availability for your situation. By this time of year reputable dealers tend to be out of looked after stock, orders getting to end, shipping started.

All these have M27 rootstocks.

If you do not have much space try super columnars or minarrettes

These are trees you can plant very close together.

I do not know very much about this.  I only started growing apples in March this year.

Or think about ballerinas - apples that only grow upright.
