My garlic has rust and I have dug most of them up, but will they store or will I need to use they up in the next couple of months?

I have left a dozen in the ground in the hope that they will bulk up more, and as they are spaced out they may miss a lot of the rust but will I be able to keep some to plant again in the Autumn?  I do hope so as I use a lot and it will cost a small fortune to buy enough for the four rows I usually plant.

I leave mine in the ground irrespective of rust.

Don't know about their storage if they haven't cloved up.  If you wait until they clove up they should be fine for next year.

Thanks Yorkie, I was just watching Monty Don and he took up his because they had rust so I just followed suit, should have asked here first.

Will leave in the dozen plants I have left and use them for bulbs next year.
