Need a couple of buddies for Beryl.

I am down to one ex-batt. She's not been well, so her immune system might be poor, and she has internal tumours, but seems on good form

I want to get her 2 new chums. Since she's on her own, I wondered, which will cause less problems, as far as getting on and not bullying?

Would 2 more ex-batts be best, or 6-8 week old or POL (I'm thinking Light Sussex)? Does anybody have experience in intergrating an ex-batt on her own.

I am not an expert but my gut reaction is that as she is on her own the sooner she gets some companions the better. Other ex-batts may develop health problems so I would go with two point of lay light sussex.

I understand that Wyandottes are quite docile too.

I would go for the chicks as there is less likelyhood of bullying. She may give them the odd peck to keep them in order which of course is allowed.
