Certainly looks like it, except my flowers are more blue, but I don't know if I've got bocking 14 or not.  It certainly doesn't spread all over the place.  Just grows in the spot I put it in.

There's a nice pic here

for you to decide.

As long as you are going to cut it before it sets seed - it really doesn't matter anyway ;)

Looks like comfrey to me too. Great on the compost to speed up the rotting process also good to soak you feet in after a long day on the Lottie with some mint at other herbs in there to make it smell nice :)

some people are like slinkys......they're really good for nothing, but they still bring a smile to your face as you push them down the stairs!!

A few years ago, the 'Estate' by us ( that's landed Gentry 'Estate', rather than housing ) planted up 'umpteen acres' with it.....I suspect as a 'green manure' ?  Being 'Gentry' I don't think their Farm Manager quite realised the long term implications of 100's of acres of Comfrey, 10 years down the line.  Every hedgerow, bye-way & verge now has great "stands" of the stuff.

I didn't know it was Ebay-able........
