Shingiku
« on: June 13, 2012, 22:14 »
Japanese edible chrysants! I swapped some of my shark's fin melon seeds with dig4victory for the shingiku seeds and the flowers are just beginning to open. :)
The leaves are very bitter, but I shall try some in a stir fry with some of my Chinese sword leaf lettuce. (Yu Mai Tsai)
I hope dig4victory is having success with the shark's fin!
Shingiku.

Very interesting. Where did you get your shark's fin seeds from?

I'm also growing Shingiku this year, I was a bit late getting them started though and they're nowhere near as full grown as yours yet.  I must plant them out from their pots this week.

The Chinese lady in the next plot initially! :D But I saved my own for this year.

They grow very fast once you get them in the ground! :)
