[eggs on legs]

I bought 3 new chickens last week, but am uncertain as to what make they are.
I think one is a Plymouth Black Rock ?

Another is a mixture of a brown hen at the front end and a grey silvery one at the back ? The bloke selling it called it a Bluebell  ?

And the third is grey and black - very pretty - bloke called it Daisy !

ANY SUGGESTIONS ??

i don't know what type they are but they're pretty cute!

myhens have bouffy hair-do's on top of their heads so i always think 'normal' hens look pretty weird :roll:

One of the smallholder type magazines have used the spitting image of the second photo on the cover of this months edition.

top 2 are very like my black rocks some have more colour on their necks than others, not sure about the other one though.  Munty might be along to help soon he will prob know

sorry munty hasnt really got a clue .. i looked and saw x possibly black rock as you said but x with welsummer ,,,. whatever they are the eggs are gonna be interesting ... im gonna plump for a chocolate brown

what ever they are they are lovely looking birds, quite young by the look of thier combs, how old were you told they are?  just curious.

About 18, 20 weeks I am told. Expecting eggs in the next couple of weeks....colour of which ??... who knows. !
I got them because they looked different. I didn't realise how different they were.
Looks like a bit of inter breeding ...! :shock:
