Gooseberry advice please
« on: May 31, 2012, 08:39 »
Bought some gooseberry bushes and put in pots in thegarden until the allotment is ready for them to be planted in the autumn.

They have some gooseberries growing but the some of the leaves have turned yellow.

Should I be worried.

Do they need treatment.
Advice gratefully received. :)

I agree with savbo. Pots have very limited nutrition for the plant and is quickly depleted. Same with moisture. Once in the ground, gooseberries can sent out roots for food.
