HELP! 10 week old Chicks fighting

HELP! 10 week old Chicks fighting

We purchased two chicks about 8 weeks ago and since then they have grown nicely. However today we came home to find them fighting and squaring up to each other.

Now I am struggling to identify if they are both boys or if they are girls.

PLEASE PLEASE ADVISE

they could be either but they will be trying to sort out which is the top hen/cockerel. Once that has been established things will settle down. In the meantime keep some wound powder and purple spray handy  :)

Hi Chris and welcome to the site.   :D

My 6 week old chicks are doing the same.  Sometimes it is just like playfighting but othertimes they are definately showing who is top hen/cockerel.

What breed are they and can you post some photos so members will try and advise if they are male or female.   ;)
