hardening off sweetcorn
« on: May 26, 2012, 17:39 »
Can I put my sweetcorn seedlings (about 2-3 inch high) direct from my home to a fleeced plastic green house to harden off. The night time temps for the next 5 days say 11oC is the lowest or would i have to put them in the greenhouse first?

Thank

Yes I would say so, I germinated mine in a unheated greenhouse at the start of May and decided to start hardening them off a few days ago but never bothered putting them away at night due to the resonable temps we've been having they seem happy enough and will be planted out just as soon as I have time.
