   I planted Bunyards Exhibition and Imperial Green Longpod broad beans.

  All the Bunyards germinated (40)and are now about 3ft tall,however out of 40 IGL only 10

   produced plants.
 
   They were planted next to each other in similar growing conditions.

At least I've got the Bunyards,which I grew last year.

Just thought I'd give IGL a go to see what they were like,there's 10 at least to compare with.

I've just been examining my broad beans. The biggest plants have some nice pods on them just over 6" long. Soon be munching them down with well buttered  rosters and finny haddock. Which is nice.
