Hi folks,

Newbie question, I have grown my leeks in a cat litter tray as suggested. I have done really well and was wondering when I should transplant them out? They are not pencil think yet!

mine have been in for about a month - and they where not pencil thinkness when they went in, but are now - so you can put them in now if you want

Mine are in the greenhouse, nowhere near pencil thickness. Mine are like the thickness of a sewing needle, very thin and about four inches tall.

Mine are quite tall about 8" but only very thin but theyre going in tomorrow. I think I sowed to thickly so hopefully once theyre in the ground they will thicken up nicely. As said in another post though....baby leeks are just as lovely
