Look what MIli was playing with today in the bathroom!

It was about a foot long and very scary when it opened it´s mouth and hissed at me and Mili.  Mili gave me a good scratch as I grabbed hold oh her and shoved her out the bathroom!

I persuaded it to go into a large jamjar (using a stick)  I wasn´t going to pick it up!
We had a BIG one of these once in the garden, it drowned in our pool.    They are protected here, I must warn Mili she could get a big fine if she hurts one again.
Miki bought us a rabbit in at the weekend, luckily, hubby spotted it and rescued the baby bunny- it was ok.

PS Why can´t they catch rats.... that is what I want them to do!

Miki almost got a baby rat last night, it was under some roofing stuff, Jim lifted it up and the rat escaped.  Miki had shown interest though!!

Pretty cheesed off is an understatement!  He was opening his mouth and hissing like an alligator!
