Hi Prikay and Snowdrops that could almost be organized, I am not that far from either of you!
It is funny how there are jobs we all love or hate and they vary so much. I hate seed sowing (makes too much mess at home!), and I hate potting on (too still and boring!), so I do those things first then reward myself with a good weed! (Of the pernicious kind I might add! Nothing stronger than coffee for me!)

Hi Allotmentann, a Leicestershire thing going on here me thinks.
I do like weeding however at the moment it is getting to be a bit of a bind (pardon the pun) because of the issues we have with a neighbouring allotment and their unmanaged allotment. Can't wait for a dry spell so that I can get planting.
Where in Leicester are you?

Hi Prikay the site I am on is in Rowley Fields, where abouts are you? I had not realized until the other day that there were so many sites in Leicester, over 40 I believe.

It is very pretty out there. To be honest my plot is not that close to me, but it is a very nice site so I am happy.

dont know how you guys do your weeding, i prefer waiting for them to grow taller before pull them out with ltc

, i used to use hoe but found i was turning thesoil over in the same time, which drys the soil surface. so i enjoy weeding but cant keep the ground totally clean.

Am I a bit wierd??
