Am I a bit wierd??
« on: May 17, 2012, 16:16 »
Coz I actually enjoy weeding!!

Maybe it's because I'm still new to the whole lotty experience but I find it quite relaxing to just switch off and weed!!

I also like the sense of achievement when you stand back and actually see the neat rows of seeds germinated and growing away nicely!

God if my mates could read this they'd think turning 40 last month had turned me soft!!!!

I'm a newbie too, and never had so much as a green fingernail before now. Yesterday I was talking to my tomato plants like they were my babies. So add me to the list of the weird.

I love weeding! So much so that I have to stop myself uprooting crops to get the pesky things out! I get totally lost in what i am doing. It is when I yell "Yes! Got you!" as I finally get the last of a particularly stubborn piece, then realize there are people on the plots opposite that I  feel a bit stupid!

I like heavy digging*, not weeding.  I think I should have been a mole.
Same sense of satisfaction at a job well done.

* double digging, trenching. If it involves a pickaxe so much the better.
Sometimes my plants grow despite, not because of, what I do to them.
