Hi I've been working on my plot for a few weeks now and wondered what's the best way to get rid of all the weeds my whole plot is covered apart from the area I have dug and picked the weed out, the rest is all types of weed about a foot deep everywhere and the soil is really soft. Thanks for any help

what type of weeds?

anyway glyphosate weedkiller (round up) can be a god send it kill almost all weeds (bind weed will need more than one dose and nothing bar a nuke kills horse tail)

glyphosate is a short lived weed killer that degrades in the soil in around 2-3 days. the chemical is taken in through the leaves of any thing it touches so if you decide to spray it wait for a windless day as the spray could drift over you neighbors plot and he/she wont like you for it.

Hi thanks there are so many different weeds there is no horsetail I can see, I will give that a go. Thankyou
