Those Ducks with a Poof on their Heads
« on: May 15, 2012, 10:44 »
Does anyone know the name of those white ducks that have a poof on their head like a little fascinator? What are their personalities like?

Thank you!
When I die I will slide in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, screaming, "Whooo hooo!  What a ride!" as life is to be enjoyed to the fullest!

I assume you mean crested ducks see here   :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

What about one of these?  He is a Bali Indian Runner duck.  Sadly a fox took him 12 months ago.  He was a little timid,  but quite mad, funny and very messy!

I LOVE Jeremy!  What a sweetie!  I'm sorry that a fox got him.  He must have been a real character.  Thank you and I'll be hot on the trail for these ducks. :)

Joyfull, those are the ones!  Thank you!  What a wonderful site!  I'm going to have a proper snoop on there this evening.  What fun!  Sometimes the research is half the fun!  ;)

Ducks must have different personalities than hens.  They (ducks) seem to not be as demanding, I think.  Hhhhmmm, maybe geese!   :D
