« on: May 04, 2012, 08:08 »
Hi

My first post.

I'm in the process of building my coop, i was wondering can i keep there food and drink in the coop,
it is a 8x6 shed so there will be plenty of room as i am having 8 hens. if it is out side means taking it in every night.

Welcome to the site frazzle   :D

The main issue I would think would be to keep vermin out that would be attracted to it.  If the feeders are hung off the ground that should help.

I prefer to keep their feed under cover as if it gets rained on and not thrown away it can quickly become mouldy - very bad for the chooks!
