Although we have been lucky enough to avoid strong winds (so far) we have had a tremendous amount of rain, meaning the lawn is under water. The chooks are coping fairly well, and we are definitely seeing an advantage to having a good amount of concrete. The chooks have been wandering between their coop, the garage and the odd paddle on the lawn, and of course knocking on the kitchen door. I may be crazy but even I draw a line at chooks in front of the fire!
They're waggling their tails like ducks!
I'd love to take photos, but as soon as I go near the door they come running.
How are others coping with the deluge?
