i chitted my sweetcorn and a few other things too on top of the router on the dining room table, between two small plates in moist kitchen roll.  it worked very well.  good luck :)

Your lupins look really good! 
I've only managed to get 1 to germinate this year. Perhaps because the seed is
about 8 yrs old  :lol: It was seed I'd saved from one of my mums plants at some stage
and came across them again this year.  ::)

Back to sweetcorn, mine are doing really well and I made a
2nd sowing a few days ago. Yours seems to be thriving!

I put my sweetcorn seeds on paper tissues in a Tupperware container and then into the Airing cupboard yesterday and nothing so far how long do they generally take to chit?
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.

They're quick, but not that quick.

Mine last year mine took two days in an airing cupboard.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
