So there it is. I think I get it now. The trick is never to grow them outside without shelter and don't blame the weather if they're not hot enough. Will a plastic polytunnel do (one of the small hooped ones with holes in)?

And I thought there were easy to grow

. Cayenne grow well outside, I often grow mine outside, but hey we got a SUNNY climate here.

So next year I'll try Cayenne. Or I'll move to Blackpool - Aidy you have done well for the tourist office, I hope you're on commission.

Blackpool is a ***t hole, I would not reccomend anybody coming here but a few may disagree, hate the place but with the gulf stream not that far away we do get some decent weather. Ideal for growing chillies
