Somewhere here, I mentioned that Mrs G is adept at finding spare odd spaces for left over seedlings and other plants, when we have filled the intended rows.
Aside from worrying too much about crop rotation etc, we often have an 'Orphan bed', which can take all manner of veg which would otherwise get left out and probably chucked, or given away. There will certainly be several onions or shallots, possibly a calabrese or broccoli, lots of leeks, a tomato or three, and anything else that gets brung up in the greenhouse, and doesn't have a home to go to!
This year's seems to have become the reponsibility of the rhubarb patch...
