For a few weeks now iv been supplying a collegue with eggs from my hens no problems untill yesterday she came to tell me she had found a chick in one of the eggs!! I tried to explain that as I only have HENs and only HENs but she was convinced it was a chick ? I'm not sure what to do from here and all my eggs get taken away from our girls on a daily basis so even if they were fertile it wouldn't form anything plus my girls are never let out in supervised I'm puzzled to say the least !

Like many people she possibly thought the little white chalazae that holds the yolk central, or perhaps there was a small blood or meat spot in there.
Silly woman, immaculate conception maybe?

I had a lady say the very same thing.... only hens in my eating egg pen...
She said it looked just like the chickens when you buy them in the supermarket.!!!!
Yep, must be true then, cause all embryos look like that

You haven't got a wandering cockerel have you? One of my neighbours cockerels is very amorous and will travel to have his wicked way with the other neighbours hens down the lane ha ha!
