Remove the larger stones you could use them for paths, but leave the smaller ones as they help to let the air into the ground.

That will take some time!

I have a lot on mine - i started out moving all large stones and then focused on certain beds. IE Tried to remove more where i will grow my carrots but didnt worry so much where things grow on top of the ground.

If you have a lot it will take years and you also have to put them somewhere (they aint light when all together!)

Good luck.

My soil is sandy and stony (lucky me!  :nowink:)

The stones which winter frosts bring up to the surface get raked off, the soil in the area I grow carrots in gets sieved to about 1 foot depth, the rest stays as it is (the roots of most crops can grow round smallish stones with no problem - half bricks would be a different matter!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

I've been taking stones out of my beds for about 20 years now, and the number never seems to diminish. As fast as you lift them, new ones come up to the surface. If you've got stoney soil, I don't think you can ever get rid of them.
