New for me this year is celery,celeriac,butter beans and sweet potatoes.

Rampion, Aztec Broccoli, Broccoli Raab, Crystal Lemon Cues, Strawberry Spinach, Butter Beans, Chick Peas, Sutherland Kale, Blauwshokker Peas, Hungarian Beefsteak tomatoes. Dr. Wyche's yellow Tomatillos, root parsley, German pointy cabbage and a few others

  All is new for me as it,s my first year and allready having to repeat cos of failure 

but the really different things i have on the go with usual ones are
lima bean,acorn squash,long island cheese pumkin,rutabebega(a cross between cabbage and swede ) and some white corn.   

dont ask --- i have no idea how any will do in containers with our weather in the north west & my limited knowledge

The pink radish ball thing white on the out side and blue sweetcorn! hope it grows looks cool

Water cress, partly because I love it and partly because it's one of the few plants it's impossible to overwater!

Also French Tarragon when I finally manage to find some.

Blue corn is not used as corn on the cob, it's for milling into cornflour....I hope you already know that
