We have our first egg!! Wahay!!! Clever Martha  Have taken a photo of it hahaaaa will post it once on laptop can't upload with iPhone I don't think, ah well chuffed, she looks shocked she was just standing in coop she laid it under perches good job not too far a drop, gonna put couple golf balls in nest boxes am sure she will work it out

It's great to get the first egg, how tiny they are well done Martha! We kept one of our new girls first eggs and blew it -however not sure what to do with it now!

  our first egg! blimey i am actually taking photos of eggs hehe, after 7 weeks could not quite believe we had an egg at last! it was about the size of a creme egg had a lovely shell and was perfect, I had it with bacon in a crusty roll for breakfast yummy! alas have not had any more eggs today though! wont be long i am sure
